Summer: Why is it here?

I've always wondered where teachers got the idea for summer vacation. I am very glad for it, but why do we always take the SUMMER off? Personally, I think that for once we should try Winter Vacation. We could chill (literally) and play in the snow. It would be a good change, if you ask me. Or maybe a Fall Vacation. I'd love to have more time to look at pumpkins and find a cool costume. It would certainly give me more time to plan a Halloween party. I think I will open a poll for you all to vote. Is summer really the best vacation time? SUMMERTIME!

It is actually summertime! Woohoo! I cannot believe that school is out, and that my best friend is moving to Florida. Well, enough dwelling on the past, its time to have "fun in the sun!" (quoting the dorky High School Musical Cast)

Hey guys. I am super duper pumped! I have a dance competition this weekend and I am hoping to impress the judge-people. I had a pretty good day, too. I learned that a guy likes me and that is good. I also got tons of hugs since I started the hug club! (visit www.rmshugclub.webs.com )

Hey bloggers and bloggettes. Today was a total bore. Ugh. My social studies teacher was coming up with real events that involved the Constitution. He was like "Let's say Jenna punches (points to me) in the nose. Um, at a skating rink. Over a boy. (Points to me) She refused to be a witness in court. Jenna said that without a witness, she would be able to be taken off the court."
Everyone laughed at the "boy" stuff. I blushed my face off. Then he said " What? Just trying to be realistic!" Soooo embarassing! Does that mean he is trying to point out that I am a boy-crazed kid? Or that I would sink so low as to be punched without defending myself????

Then, in science we built a giant Venn Diagram. My science teacher handed us index cards and made us tape them to the board under the right category. I put mine under the wrong category. I was all like "SUCCESS!" when she told me I had it wrong, because we are not allowed to say "fail". Everyone was laughing their off!

Well, I guess its tootles for now, but until the next time, Adios!

OBSERVATIONS

I am going to do a little exercise about observing my surroundings, so here I go.....

I see: The book "twi lite (if i type it differently it will blank out) ", a Mickey Mouse Garden Gnome, a painting of food, a phone, and a magazine.

I hear: My dad washing the dishes, the television, and my sister talking.

I smell: bacon
